Summmmmer art project - June 29th 2010, 01:31 PM

Im having to write a list of things to do over the summer for me and my councillor to look through to make sure ive got things planned.

One is to do art, but i want to do some sort of project.

Howeeverrr, i have no ideass! INSPIRE ME?!!!

That's such a good idea!

I think that the possibilities are endless with art, really. I think that a good idea would be to take a word or a phrase and then make a sketchbook or series of artwork and experiment and expand on the idea.

One idea that I will give as an example could be the subject of "Nature", where you could include photographs/drawings/paintings/sculpture looking at wildlife, flowers, weather, seasons and such. It's pretty impossible to get stuck for ideas if you choose a subject as broad as that and it also allows you to narrow down your focus if you'd like to do that.

Of course, that's only one rather obvious example. You could choose anything you want - celebrities, festivals, urban areas, specific emotions, contrast, textures, light and dark.

Ive bought a massive scrap book xD

Im going to do one all based on my summer'10 ;]
