Poetry out loud -

so theres this contest called poetry out loud where your given a poem to read out loud memorized winners get a total of 50,000 dollars alot and we just got it set up at are school and will start next year problem you have to read it where you can feel the emotion imagine and it goes from your school to district to reginals to the whole state so im going to try it out and see how far i get
 its an amazing thing we watched a viedo and it was pretty cool
 dont give up just hold me now  Miwa my best firend may you rest in peace I will stay here for you and you will never leave my heart because I loved you I wish you are here but now you are a concrete angel in heaven where you are loved yes I will miss you but I know your by my side every single day holding my hand |

so is it your own poem? sorry the whole given a poem to read confused me. but anyways that does sound really cool! I love poetry readings(: and it's cool that your school is doing it! I've never heard of such a contest! good luck!
