Travelling! - November 20th 2013, 06:17 PM

This might be a long shot, but worth asking to see...

I'm off to Mexico (along with pretty much the rest of Central America) next year (eeeeep it's only three months away!) and I was really just wondering two things...

A) Does anybody have any experience travelling Central America? Anything that is a must see or do? Anything that's a bit of a 'time waste/ money waste'? Any tips for specifically travelling Central America.

B) Any travelling tips in general? Having never been backpacking before (and I'm going for two months) I don't really know a lot, and I was just wondering if there's anything any of you had wished you'd have known before you had left?

Thankkkssss for any replies in advance!

Something I learned with going away, if your planning on cloths shopping while your there, don't take a lot with you.
I went to Quebec city (montreal) last march went shopping on day two, and really didn't wear anything I brought with me after going shopping the rest of the time there.

Definitely just be sure to pack what you need.
Here is a Backpacking Checklist that you can take a look at.
I've never been to Mexico so I cannot help with that though.

And here you are living, despite it all.
