Moving? - September 10th 2017, 07:38 PM

So I have the option to move in with my aunt in South Carolina, she said she'd help me find a job and I could live there rent free. It would get me away from my parents, particularly my dad, which I think would be a good thing, BUT I'm established here right now with my mental health services and I don't think they have a good mental health agency in the area I would be living in. I mean, it would also be a culture shock, moving from a northern state to a southern state. I'd need my mental health services, especially at that time. I get along well with my aunt, we have no problems getting along.

1. (of a person or animal) able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.
2. (of a substance or object) able to recoil or spring back into shape after bending, stretching, or being compressed.

We all possess resilience, we just need to realize it.

If you do go, I advise that you look into what type of services youd be able to get. I know some states have better services and better access and if you need the services you definitely don't want to move and have no access. You might be able to ask your current team what kind of services you'd have access to. If possible see if you can get it all set up before moving because you could end up getting there and not be able to get the services etc.

Yeah, I agree. Make sure to always do a check first!
