Can i move out at 15 -

So i cant stand my house anymore i HATE my step dad, nd me nd my mom dont get along.. She dosent trust me at all and makes my life a living hell. All my friends thinks shes a bitch.My friends mom said that i can move in with them i would still go to school,work and i would have a roof over my head. Am I aloud to do that without getting in trouble.

You can go and live with them BUT if your mum decides she doesn't want you to go then she can legally come and fetch you and bring you back.
The only way you can do it legally is to become emancipated but you need to prove that you can live independently. I'm not really sure on the ins and outs of it though. Can you not move in with your dad?  |

Well i dont want to get emancipated cuz i dont wanna live by myself at this age, nd plus my friends mom will take me in, Well my mom has full custody of me nd he lives in cali, nd i dont feel like dealing with all that court shit.

yes, if you DO move in with them unless you can get the law to emancipate you you are still a minor under her control; therefore, she can come get you and make you move back in.
Do you not like your parents because they abuse you if that is the case you need to get the law involved. |
