Passport?!!

Im going to Spain in six weeks on Mondaay. Im just waiting for my teacher to fill my passport form and hoping it'll be done my monday.

I've looked it up and it says that it will take the passport 2-6 weeks to arrive depending on whether i need an interview etc. But im scared it wont come in time.

So i was just wondering how long it took for your passport or anyone else you know, to come.

When I got mine it took about 3 weeks, but there was an option for it to get here faster usually in one week it is more expensive but if you really need it you can buy that.

i'm pretty sure theres a fast-track service where they can guarantee it within a week?.. i think it costs more but it would definitely get there in time that way. you have to go to the passport office if you want fast-track though i think.

when i got mine renewed it came in about 2 weeks. i was told they aim to get them to you within 3 weeks. it's cutting it fine a little for you but i wouldn't worry too much, it should come through in time! the summer is probably the busiest time for them though seeing as everyones going away so if it takes a bit longer than 3 weeks don't start panicking!.

I think there are a few options for how fast you get your passport back. Within a week and within a day. Obviously these cost a lot more than waiting the normal time.

But I think that because it's your first one, they might need to take the time to check all the details. And maybe, you'd need an interview, because it's your first one. I'm sure they'll inform you of more information when they know. Or ring up and ask someone.

It took mine about 2 weeks to come back. I was only getting it renewed though so it might take longer.

I left it quite late so we paid extra to get it checked at the post office so they wouldn't send it back if there were mistakes.

Mine took three weeks.... But my brother's took six months. The earlier you apply, the better.

I assume it's just an ID check, rather than a really formal ''interview'', and if you were born there etc it shouldn't be a big deal. I found these ''potential interview questions'' online:

1 What was your mother's maiden name?
2 When is her birthday?
3 In which town was your father born?
4 What is your National Insurance number?
5 What is the registration number of your family car?
6 What is the occupation of the person who countersigned your application?
7 How long have you known him/her?
8 What is the sort code of your bank?
9 How long have you lived at your current address?
10 Where did you live before that?

It's nothing to worry about, just proving you are who you say you are on the forms really.
