UK trip question... -

So, I am going to the UK soon and I have a Family Visitor visa. So I was wondering, what all places can I travel to in the UK? I mean, specifically can I travel to Scotland or do I have to restrict myself only to England? And yeah, I know this is a very silly question, but I tried the VFS website for information and I didn't find what I was looking for. I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me. Thanks a lot!

I'm not entirely sure because I haven't looked it up, but I should imagine you'd be able to go anywhere within the UK - that'd cover England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This isn't something that I've looked up either so I'm not 100% sure but I figured that I'd give my thoughts anyway. If you have a visa for the UK then I'm pretty sure that you would be able to visit England, Scotland, Wales and Nothern Ireland as these are the places that make up the United Kingdom. If you had a visa that was purely just for England then I'd say that you were better off just sticking to England but I think that since your visa is for the UK then you'll be fine. I hope you have a great time on your trip over here and don't forget to take lots of pictures!

Thanks a lot Jessy and Jake. I did a bit more of digging and found the same answers on Google as well, so I guess I am set. The thing is I've been to UK twice last year but only limited my travels to London and Manchester so I didn't know where all I could go. And I didn't ask at the visa application center as honestly the people there seemed scary
 Haha, I guess I can go to Scotland but will still confirm it from the travel people! Thanks a lot again!

As far as I'm aware, you can travel anywhere within the UK if you're specifically in England.

Yeah, you can travel anywhere in the UK. Anyway, there's no border control between England and Scotland, so it's not as if anyone would stop you.

Anywhere in the UK
As its is a UK visa  Where are you wanting to visit? The border for scotland/england is just country roads so nothing can stop you getting through (well, maybe a stray sheep :P) |
