28 Weeks Later - March 25th 2014, 09:06 PM

Six months after the rage virus was inflicted on the population of Great Britain, the US Army helps to secure a small area of London for the survivors to repopulate and start again. But not everything goes to plan.

I watched this a while back and completely loved it, was quite emotional though. Has anybody else on here seen it? Its a British zombie film. There was a one before it called 28 Days Later where it showed you how the virus began and how it couldn't be stopped, the prequel shows that it was stopped but couldn't be contained.

I've seen both 28 Days and Weeks later more than once and both are really good films. Out of both Days and Weeks, I have to say I prefer 28 Days because it's more focused on the survivors themselves rather than people always coming to the rescue or the military stepping in and being unable to contain an outbreak in a 'secured' location. I did find it interesting how *spoilers* the children were actually part of the cure in the second film.

Yeah that was really interesting Both of the films had two of my favourite actors in it. Christopher Eccleston is the first as the army Sargent and the second Jeremy Renner as a soldier as part of the American army
However, I watched these films well before I knew who they were. So the second time round, years later I eventually clicked on to who both actors were.

That was exactly the same for me too! I did like Christopher Eccleston's portrayal in the first, the darker, sly side of his acting really came out.

Yeah, he had a more darker side than he did as the Doctor. Also I liked Renner in the second one because of the way he cared for the kids and the woman. In other things he doesn't seem to let on that he cares but in that he did.
