Netflix and Hulu - January 14th 2019, 03:39 AM

So I have Netflix and hulu. I only have Hulu for 4 months. I am wondering what are some series that are finished that I can binge watch on Hulu and Netflix. I like re-watching shows. Right now I am binge watching charmed for the second time around, I will probably binge watch grey's too. I want to watch once upon a time as well. This is on Netflix.

On Hulu I am binge watching one tree hill again, I want to watch Dawson's creek, Beverly hills 90210, and the OC.

But I am wondering if there are any shows like the one's I listed, either Hulu or Netflix that you guys can recommend. Or other shows as well. I would also like recommendations for movie's as well. I do not like scary things. Action is okay, so is weird and supernatural stuff(like charmed). I love show's like Criminal Minds and SVU, and Chicago pd, med, fire. SO if you can recommend shows like that as well. I like dramas, I love medical shows, I like movie's or shows about mermaids, and gymnastics. I like movie's and shows about self-harm, eating disorders, bullying, drugs, alcohol, foster kids. I have only watched half of the first episode of thirteen reasons why and I'm not sure if I will try and watch it again. So please don't recommend that. Thank you.

Re: Netflix and Hulu - January 14th 2019, 05:28 AM

I don't have Hulu but on Netflix I have watched and liked:

Seven Seconds
Safe
You (just finished watching this series, it's new)
The Bodyguard
Broadchurch
The Fall
The Staircase
Inside The Criminal Mind
The Sinner

These are similar to criminal minds or SVU. I don't really watch gymnastic shows but I looked at my younger sister's account and she has watched the following or added them to her list:

The Little Mermaid (new one)
A 2nd Chance
Going for Gold
Raising the Bar
Make it or Break It
Full Out

Thank you I'll look into those shows. And the movies you listed are great I've actually seen most of them and love them. I will have to check out the littler mermaid and Going for gold. Make it or break actually isn't on my Netflix(i'm in the US) but I have seen it, and loved it.

If you haven't already seen it, I'd recommend Rizzoli & Isles on Hulu. It's in the same vein as Criminal Minds and SVU, but it's definitely more light-hearted and more closely resembles a buddy cop show than a serious crime drama. In a style similar to Grey's, it focuses a lot on the relationships between the characters, as well as the individual cases.

It's only 7 seasons and my wife and I got through the whole thing in a couple of weeks. I'm actually pretty bummed that it's over. If you decide to check it out, let me know what you think!

We love that show. We watch reruns all the time. I'm sad it is over with as well.

Re: Netflix and Hulu - February 6th 2019, 02:12 PM

Paying for such content is really what we need to do but I just can't use those streaming services, my internet connection isn't that good, I think that you don't get enough content for the money and speaking of netflix, it isn't just convenient enough I'd say. So I prefer just to download stuff for free from torrent websites using the edited.

Re: Netflix and Hulu - February 6th 2019, 05:01 PM

I disagree completely. With what Netflix and Hulu offers, the money you pay is pretty much a bargain. Plus, unless there is a major security breach with these legal streaming services, I know that I cannot get a virus or phished or some sort of dark web content unlike that with illegal streaming services.

Unfortunately, Hulu has been having streaming issues lately. I hope that gets fixed soon.

Back on topic, Frankie a show you might like I think is ER. An old medical-related drama which is a classic.
