Requiem for a Dream - November 25th 2009, 09:48 PM

Has anybody seen this movie? After putting off watching it for ages i watched it for the first time last night

It was probably the most amazing movie i have ever seen in my life. I just can't stop thinking about it and will probably have to watch it again when i get home.

If you haven't seen it i highly reccommend you check it out

it's the beauty of confession

I've watched the first half so many times it's untrue. I've fallen asleep every time I've watched it though so it's never something that I've finished. The parts that I've watched I thought were really good though. My flat mate has it on DVD so now you've reminded me of it I might have to watch it again!

I've seen it more than once. An excellent portrayal of the ups and downs (pun intended) of substance abuse. Goes a bit too parochial at the end though, with NONE of the characters anywhere good. However it's well written, well directed and realistic from my experience of associating with heavy drug users (IDUs,much older than me. I don't recommend that level of substance use by any means.)

Yes yes yes! I love this movie very much, and I always get very emotional after watching it. It's so moving to me. Very good movie.
It's sad that when you watch movies you're inclined to think "Well, this is just a movie", but really, this kind of thing happens all of the time.

Omg, I loooove this movie! It's always been a favorite of mine. To say it's amazing, is a huge understatement. (:
