Supernanny/Brat Camp/Nanny911 - April 20th 2010, 09:42 PM

Does anyone watch these 'child/teen help' shows. I loved brat camp. There are so many shows like this. I love em all.

I always watch Supernanny even though Jo Frost annoys the hell out of me. I normally put them on as "background noise" more than anything.

I watch Supernanny on Hulu, mainly just to marvel at how awful some of the kids can be.

I watch Supernanny every so often, and I used to watch BratCamp all the time.

For some reason, I seem to really like them

I loved watching supernanny mainly because of her accent. I love British accents. Lol. I used to watch Brat Camp occasionally.

I worked for the company that produced Supernanny for a few weeks to get work experience and it seriously disillusioned me. The ways they edit it to make the kids look worse than they actually are and then, towards the end of the show, edit it to make it look like the kids are getting better.

ugh, no i hate those shows. Especially supernanny, that's the worst. The annoying bratty kids.. i just can't stand them. I did watch brat camp though.. It was ok, but meh.. it seems like they're just playing up to the cameras all the time.

I'm not familiar with any of these shows, does this mean I should start watching tv more often?

I always wonder what really happens It's all the same with "reality" TV though. My friend was in the audience of Britain's Got Talent and he said how set-up it really is ¬____¬

The entire 3rd season of Brat Camp is on Youtube now (although the dubbing is off and becomes really irritating) I watched every episode of all 3 seasons, but I don't know how I feel about the programs now after hearing and reading that kids die in them.

Nanny 911 is the best!
I love how the parents don't have control over their children.

I've never seen Brat Camp before! I have seen Supernanny and Nanny911, my mom used to like to those type of shows and every now and then I'd watch them. I think they're so-so. Not the best shows out there, and definitely not on my favourite list.

I was refering to the Camps featured on Brat Camp. Kids have died in that program and others like it, but not in the show itself. The most recent that we know of was a death at Sagewalk in August 2009. Story

Brat camp is great. Those kids are so dumb sometimes. Supernanny and Nanny 911 are ok, but I don't really watch them anymore. They all seem the same after a while.
