Spirited Away - May 4th 2010, 10:57 PM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccMvH9BSZxc

Anyone else like this film? I almost completely forgotten about it until I found a few icons saved on my computer -points to avatar- It's in my top 5 fav animated movies

Also, I've been wondering how different is the Japanese version? I've only ever seen the English dubbed version. Is it any better?

I love this film. One of the only animes I can sit through.

I thought this was a really cute movie. I'm not really interested in the anime genre, but I enjoyed this film. :]

Spirited Away is my all time favorite movie...EVER!!!!!!! It's so amazing along with all of the other Studio Ghibli films!!! It is so moving and has many different moods throughout the whole story.

I love this movie! It is one that my father got for me. We use to watch it together. :-)

I absolutely love it! It's definitely on my list of favourite films. I don't actually own it and I have no idea why I don't because I watch it quite a lot online. It's one of my comfy comfort films that I know I'm going to enjoy whenever I watch it.

I actually HAVE this movie on VHS somewhere.. I think in my attic.. but I haven't watched it in years. Chihiro, I think the girl's name is? She's awesome. This is such a good anime, one of maybe 2 that I can tolerate. Thanks for reminding me to watch it!!

I have this film

It's a great film and I remember watching it on telly when I was little. I don't think there's any difference between the English dub and the Japanese one. I watched the Japanese one online before I had the DVD and I didn't notice any differences.

Ahem, I'm actually a bit of a manga/anime obsessive... I've got the DVD of that and watched it about 20 times. He's made some brilliant other movies too. Similar art style to Howl's Moving Castle.

Pay Close Attention To The Castle, it's an absolute feat of imaginary engineering! There's also a good mini-dcoumentary on how they adapted the book (oddly enough it was originally a book written by a British lady!), but that would probably on the DVD anyway.
