127 Hours. -
February 5th 2011, 10:08 AM
So I just went to go see this movie for my birthday...
IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Seriously. I thought it was gonna be pretty corny, but I loved the gritty and quirky way it was put together. Plus James Franco is incredibly hot. During the close up shots of him, I thought he had a certain Johnny Depp-esque appeal about him. What were your guys' opinions on it? "Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." |

Loved it. And he is a hottie!!
I didn't know how they were going to mak 127 hours of being stuck between rocks interesting, but they did. A warning to SHers though, it's definitely triggering in some parts...

I agree with the triggering part, bitesize. I was kinda freaking when he was cutting his arm off...
Ew.

Well, yeah, a lot of it is him in between the boulder. But there's a few flashbacks (not a lot, but a few). It's just really interesting actually watching his ordeal be played out. There's a part in it that's really funny where he starts pretending that he's a radio host
