I just saw a commercial for this movie coming out April 8th!!
I use to adore Hamilton's story. She was on Oprah back in the day and even wrote a book on her life. She was attacked by a shark and lost an arm but continued to surf, which is amazing. I saw the preview for the movie as well, but the thing is, they already made a movie about her so I am confused why they are making practically the same movie.

I have heard of that story, and read the book!
I wasn't aware there was already a movie on her. I'm excited to see this one though

What was the first movie about her called? I just now saw a preview for it too. When I was younger I read her book, and it was and still is one of the only books I can read in a day with all my attention invested in it. I don't know why, but shes pretty inspiring. The movie looks kinda bad, like acting and shit. But I'll probably still see it because of Bethany.

I was looking all over for the name of the movie and I can't find it. Maybe I imagined it or maybe I had another "know it's gonna happen before it happens" moment. I don't know but if I find the movie I will tell ya.
