Has anyone here seen Insidious? I'm going to go see it with my friend and her boyfriend (we're having a date so I can meet him and everything). She is freaked because she hates scary movies. I love them so I'm not too worried But, can anyone tell me if it's going to be too scary for her?

It's definitely really scary. My 14 year old cousin didnt sleep the night he saw it cause he was scared to close his eyes. I wouldn't see it with someone who is not into scary movies to be honest. I was terrified, but I love horror movies. Scale of one to 10, I'd give it an 8.

Yeah I have heard that it's pretty terrifying, and it's pretty hard to be terrified by horror movies these days.

Oh my God, so we did go to Insidious anyway last night, even though I told her it was supposed to be really bad. Holy crap, I was so scared I could barely sleep last night.
 And it takes a really good movie to get me scared.
