Any Aussies out there watching it/ watch it (if you're reading this later)?

For non Australians imagine a really embarrassing Emmy's with people you've never seen before from shows you've never heard of with people trying (and failing) to be funny. And when I say people you don't know... I don't say that because you're not Australian. We don't know who they are either.

I watch it every year for a good laugh- I don't know why, it's awful. I've had to switch channels a few times because I feel so embarrassed. Channel Nine hosts are terrible. Shane Bourne is BOMBING. I felt so sorry for Matt Preston... he looked like he took it well but it was rude! For those who didn't see it he singled him out for being overweight in front of everyone while the audience nervously laughed.

I'm just glad Hamish and Andy and James Mathison are there to balance the unfunny-ness of everyone else.

I'm not a Katy Perry fan but she was pretty good I guess, I don't know how they pulled that one off.

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget

Lmao- Any Neighbours fans? The actress who plays Donna got nominated for an award... but they zoomed in on the one who plays Tash instead.

Logies in it's purest form.

Jessie J was pretty good. I hate how they get these big names in there and they act like they're so much better than little Aussie actors (even if they are lol). But she wasn't like that at all, she really seemed to enjoy herself.
