I completely agree! I wanted him to win, but I did love Lauren as well. They were both phenomenal. I liked Haley too, as she was from my home state

I liked James, Scotty, Casey, Paul, and Haley. I would've been okay with any of them winning, but I liked James the best. Follow your heart kid, and you'll never go wrong.

As much as I personally adore Scotty, I wish he'd came in second, then he could have gotten a good contract instead of the American Idol one. But he was my favorite from the second I saw his audition. I think if Ian Benardo tries out next year, he'll win
 Look him up on youtube. AI audition.

My cousin, Stevie (female) is trying out for AI sometime in June in Missouri. I've only seen her sing one time, and that was when her band played a local bar here in my town, the day before she left to care for her sick mother, my aunt (may she RIP). I hope she makes it, or they at least go easy on her. She might not have the best voice, but in my opinion, she is definitely worth giving a shot to see where she can go from there, and if she can grow as an artist!
I thought about trying out as well, but I don't have the guts yet. When I walk into a room with Steven Tyler in it, I'm bound to say something stupid.
