If they really knew all those things that you do
in your room to hide the pain
I bet their minds would change
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first

Why are you trying to make fun of me?
You think it's funny?
What the fuck you think it's doing to me?
You take your turn lashing out at me
I want you crying with your dirty ass in front of me
All of my hate cannot be found
I will not be drowned by your thoughtless scheming
So you can try to tear me down
Beat me to the ground
I will see you screaming

Come on in, boy
See the skeletons
Sitting by her closet door
Dirty secrets
Empty memories
And broken hearts across the floor
I was knocked out
Heels over head
So you dragged me by my feet
To a ghost town
Where you buried me
No wonder no one heard my screams
Love so alive, but it died in its sleep
And now that it's dead, I live in your head And I will haunt your fucking dreams
No one will love you like I did
Will treat you like I did
So go on, wear that scarlet letter
No one will love you like I did
Will touch you like I did
So good luck finding something better
Run away boy
If you couldn't tell...
Baby's got a thirst for blood

If a cold wind starts to rise
I am ready now
I am ready now
With the last sail lifted high
I am ready now
I am ready now
If a storm blows in on me
I am ready now
I am ready now
When the waves come from underneath
I am ready now
I am ready now

so i’m singing ‘la la la’ in empty rooms that carry sounds like hollow caves 'la la la' just to prove you're not the only one that can occupy a borrowed space 'la la la' for every ship that was set to sail but got washed away i’m singing ‘la la la’ in desperate hopes that when it bounces back i hear the octave change

run away, boy
if you couldn't tell
baby's got a thirst for blood
a subtle system
wicked melodies
craving bullets from her gun
so entranced, they
follow every word
little spirals in their eyes
catch a lover
turn an enemy
just to watch them burn alive

So punish me for starters, and
Exert me for dessert,
Fragile skin so paper thin, just Starve me if it works.
Thrust your menu at my strength,
Seduction at its worst,
You'll be my friend until the end, Together we are cursed.
I'll keep running up that hill, I will,
Keep running to my dream,
The life that I'm competing for,
They'll never hear my screams.
So light and high, that I can fly,
Above the rest I'll soar,
Just waiting to be weightless,
That's all I'm craving for.

so bury your demons, keep them six feet under, six feet under the ground.
i've found my way, and i'm moving forward.
when your back's against the wall, yeah, will you crumble or finally push back? so i'm taking my stand and watching you fall.

I'm a pretty tragedy
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first

For the sake of sanity, I just need some room to breathe
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first

The way that it was and could have been surrounds me
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
Years of tearing down our banners, you and I
Living for the thrill of hitting you where it hurts Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first

Thinking about the storm advancing
Thinking about the lightning dancing in your eyes
No use in patching up a sinking ship
This is the last time we do this, baby
This is the last time you taste my lips
I know, I know who you really are
You know, you know how to break my heart
It's the way you let me throw ya 'cross the bed
Got ya runnin' through my head when I know I should be sleeping
But I can't escape, you're addicted to the lust, the imaginary trust
Got ya beggin' for it, screamin' for it
Here we go, now it's time to cut the cord and abandon love support
We're through.

Don’t say I’m out of touch
With this rampant chaos - your reality
I know well what lies beyond my sleeping refuge
The nightmare I built my own world to escape
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
Cannot cease for the fear of silent nights
Oh, how I long for the deep sleep dreaming

Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I love
I'll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And Breakaway

At night you live it all again
If clarity's in death, then why won't this die?
