Once upon a time, I believe it was a Tuesday when I caught your eye
And we caught onto something
I hold onto the night, you looked me in the eye and told me you loved me
Were you just kidding?
'cause it seems to me, this thing is breaking down
We almost never speak
I don't feel welcome anymore
Baby what happened, please tell me?
'cause one second it was perfect, now you're halfway out the door
And I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when he said forever and always
Oh, and it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
Cause I was there when you said forever and always
Was I out of line?
Did I say something way too honest, made you run and hide
Like a scared little boy
I looked into your eyes
Thought I knew you for a minute, now I'm not so sure
So here's everything coming down to nothing
Here's to silence that cuts me to the core
Where is this going? Thought I knew for a minute, but I don't anymore
And I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when he said forever and always
Oh, and it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
'cause I was there when you said forever and always
You didn't mean it baby, I don't think so
Back up, baby, back up
Did you forget everything
Back up, baby, back up
Did you forget everything
'cause it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
'cause I was there when you said forever and always
Oh, I stare at the phone, he still hasn't called
And then you feel so low you cant feel nothing at all
And you flashback to when we said forever and always
And it rains in your bedroom
Everything is wrong
It rains when you're here and it rains when you're gone
'cause I was there when you said forever and always
You didn't mean it baby, you said forever and always... yeah

There you go making my heart beat again,
Heart beat again,
Heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won't you do it and do it one time
There you go pulling me right back in,
Right back in,
Right back in
And I know I'm never letting this go

I don’t know where I’m at.
I’m standing at the back
and I’m tired of waiting,
waiting here in line,
hoping that I’ll find
what I’ve been chasing.
I shot for the sky; I’m stuck on the ground. So why do I try? I know I’m gonna fall down. I thought I could fly,
so why did I drown? I'll never know why it’s coming down, down, down.
Not ready to let go,
'cause then I'd never know
what I could be missing. But I’m missing way too much, so when do I give up
what I’ve been wishing for?
I shot for the sky; I’m stuck on the ground. So why do I try? I know I’m gonna fall down. I thought I could fly,
so why did I drown? I'll never know why it’s coming down, down, down. Oh I am going down, down, down, can’t find another way around, and I don’t want to hear the sound
of losing what I never found...

So here goes, One last letter now. One last attempt to make sense.
Who have I been writing to? I’m not sure anymore. What have I been trying to accomplish?
It’s a mystery, I guess. Self-made secrecy.
Things get cloudy and now all these stories and
The struggle as an undercurrent, both get blurry by the minute both get blurrier.
So, which voice is this then that I’ve been writing in? Is it my own or his? Has there ever been a difference between them at all?
I don’t know I don’t know.
One last desperate plea. One last verse to sing.
One last laugh track to accompany the comedy. Have I been losing it completely? Losing sanity? Or has it been fabricated, fashioned by the worst of me?
I know I knocked the table over because I watched the jar break. And I’ve been trying to repair it every single stupid day. But won’t the cracks still show no matter how well it’s assembled? Can I ever just decide to let it die and let you go?
All my motives and every single narrative below Reflects that moment when it broke and will I never let it go
No matter what?
And here you are living, despite it all. Lead Moderator | Disputes Committee | HelpLINK Mentor

You is kind. You is smart. You is important. -The Help
From day one I talked about getting out
But not forgetting about
How all my worst fears are letting out
He said, "Why put a new address on the same old loneliness?"
When breathing just passes the time
Until we all just get old and die

What you got if you ain't got love
the kind that you just want to give away
It's okay to open up
go ahead and let the light shine through
I know it's hard on a rainy day
you want to shut the world out and just be left alone
But don't run out on your faith
'Cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand
What you've been up there searching for
forever is in your hands
When you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else
seem so small
It's so easy to get lost inside
a problem that seems so big at the time
it's like a river thats so wide
it swallows you whole
While you sit around thinking about what you can't change
and worrying about all the wrong things
time's flying by
moving so fast
you better make it count 'cause you can't get it back

I'm still trying to figure out How to tell you I was wrong I can't fill the emptiness inside
Since you've been gone
So is it you or is it me? I know I said things that I didn't mean But you should've known me by now
You should've known me
If you believed when I said I'd be better off without you Then you never really knew me at all If you believed when I said That I wouldn't be thinking about you
You thought you knew the truth But you're wrong
You're all that I need Just tell me that you still believe
I can't undo the things That led us to this place But I know there's something more
To us than our mistakes
So is it you or is it me? I know I'm so blind when we don't agree But you should've known me by now You should've known me
'Cause you're all that I want Don't you even know me at all? You're all that I need
Just tell me that you still believe

She drowns herself until the images erase
But the skin is bruised all along her thighs
Nightmares repeat refrain the memories of pain
The mental photographs haunting all the time
She shuts her eyes, to you she tries to hide
From you, she falls asleep into dreams where she is safe
If I could take your pain away
I would scream for you
And I'd bleed for you
So you’ll never feel this way again
When you’re in my arms

Under a sky, no one sees
Waiting, watching it happening
Don’t hurry, give it time
Things are the way they have to be
Slow down, give it time
Still life, you know I’m listening
The moment that you want is coming if you give it time
When you wake up, when you wake up
You will find me
When you wake up, when you wake up
You will find me

We touch I feel a rush
We clutch it isn't much
But it's enough to make me wonder what's in store for us
It's lust, it's torturous
You must be a sorceress 'cause you just
Did the impossible
Gained my trust don't play games it'll be dangerous
If you fuck me over
'Cause if I get burnt imma show you what it's like to hurt
'Cause I been treated like dirt before you
And love is "evol"
Spell it backwards I'll show you
Nobody knows me I'm cold
Walk down this road all alone
It's no one's fault but my own
It's the path I've chosen to go
Frozen as snow I show no emotion whatsoever so
Don't ask me why I have no love for these motherfucking hoes
Bloodsucking succubuses, what the fuck is up with this?
I've tried in this department but I ain't had no luck with this
It sucks but it's exactly what I thought it would be
Like trying to start over
I got a hole in my heart, for some kind of emotional rollercoaster
Something I won't go on 'til you toy with my emotion, so it's over
It's like an explosion every time I hold you, I wasn't joking when I told you
You take my breath away
You're a supernova... and I'm a
I'm a space bound rocket ship and your heart's the moon
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
Two hundred fifty thousand miles on a clear night in June
And I'm aiming right at you
Right at you
Right at you

I know that someday you'll be sleeping, Darling, likely dreaming off the pain. I hope you'll hear me in the streetlight's humming,
softly breathing out your name.
I know that even with the seams stitched tightly, darling scars will remain. I say we scrape them from each other, darling, and let them wash off in the rain.
And when they run into the river, oh no, let the water not complain.
I swear that even with the distance, slowly wearing at your name, Your hands still catch the light the right way and Our hearts still beat the same.

Walk the city lonely, memories that haunt are passing by
A murderer walks your streets tonight
Forgive me for my crimes, don't forget that I was so young
Fought so scared in the name of God and country

So tell me what your running from
Don't be afraid to come undone
All you're scared to say
Isn't worth the work it takes
To keep it in and live this way
With all the heartache
Baby talk to me
Don't just let it be

I'll be watching, waiting Dreadful, shaking Will the storm pass over us today?
Will lighting strike our sins away? Watching, waiting, Will the storm pass over us today? Or is the future looking grey?
You can't hide from thunder And I never thought we'd turn out this way
Oh, no! Oh, no! I watch the clouds roll in
Oh, no! Oh, no! It's happening again

Forgiveness is such a simple word
But it's so hard to do when you've been hurt
Oh, I hear the weather's nice in California
And just in case you're wondering about me
From now on I won't be in Carolina
Your little girl is off
Your little girl is off
Your little girl is off to Tennessee

You could’ve bowed out gracefully
But you didn’t
You knew enough to know
To leave well enough alone
But you wouldn’t
I drive myself crazy
Tryin’ to stay out of my own way
The messes that I make
But my secrets are so safe
The only one who gets me
Yeah, you get me
It’s amazing to me
CHORUS
How every day
Every day, every day
You save my life
I come around all broken down and
crowded out
And you’re comfort
Sometimes the place I go
Is so deep and dark and desperate
I don’t know, I don’t know
Repeat Chorus
Sometimes I swear, I don’t know if
I’m comin’ or goin’
But you always say something
without even knowin’
That I’m hangin’ on to your words
With all of my might and it’s alright
Yeah, I’m alright for one more night-
every day
Every day, every day, every day
Every day, every day
You save me, you save me, oh, oh, oh
Every day
Every, every, every day-
Every day you save my life

Can't decide Then look at the faces
But ask us why And hurting ourselves with this false start
Resign yourself
And always be without the one thing you need
Debating words with no replies
When we have these mornings where we can say goodbye I wanted to mean everything to you But this isn't right You keep coming back disassembled and i Keep losing this fight
Dancing on the starlight glow No one in the city knows
Confidence can take you
Nerves try to shake you From going all the way
And here you are living, despite it all. Lead Moderator | Disputes Committee | HelpLINK Mentor
