I watched it this evening on ABC, shows even those who seem to have it all are not immune to the same troubles faced by many on this site, being here allowed me to better understand what she was feeling. Being a big public figure I am sure she will be seen as an inspiration to many to try to overcome their challenges.
Demi Lovato is more of a role model than any other child star popular today. I love that she can overcome her issues and still think about how it will affect her younger fans. I'm really big on celebrities that are popular to children being good role models for the little girls that look up to them. Most stars these days only think about number one and how they can get more money... Good Job Demi! I know who's tv show I want my baby sister to watch more often...

First off, i love her. Met her, and seen her in concert 5 times.
Anyway if you have self harmed, struggle with an Eating Disorder you should really watch this (:
She got "stay" and "strong" tattoo'd on her wrists so she could see. She recently just got out of a treatment center for cutting, she struggled with an bulimia and now has been diagnosed bipolar.

I knew she had an ED bit I wasn't too sure if the SH was true or not :/ I didn't know she was bi-polar either. I wish people would stop blaming Joe Jonas for her breakdown :/ You can't expect him to stay with her for the rest of his life just in case she has a breakdown. They're still young, their feelings will change.
I love Demi too <3 I'd love to meet her
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
I really look up to her for coming out so openly about her issues. It would have been so easy to just say she was struggling with eating right so got some help, but she told the whole story about what she was doing, the reasons behind it and the effect it had on her. She gained a lot of respect from me for that.
Throw those curtains wide
One day like this a year would see me right

I found this to be very inspirational myself. Right before inpatient, I read an article by her and that was the kind of thing that I needed to read. It just goes to show that anyone can be depressed. Celeb or not. We all have our issues. This was good though.
