I'm With You - RHCP -

So the title of their forthcoming album is supposed to be I'm With You, and the first single (which drops on July 18) is gonna be called The Adventures of Raindance Maggie. The album is slated to be released on August 30th.
I'm stoked.   Anyone else as excited as I am for this? Apparently they're sorta going back to their funk roots, so it'll be interesting to see what they do with that and their new guitarist, as in their funk era Hillel was still alive.
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." |

I would love for them to go back to their roots. One Hot Minute and Californication were their two best albums, I think. Of course, they've been able to maintain their zesty sound throughout, so I doubt we'll be disappointed either way.

I want them to do another album like By the Way.
 Every melody on that album was perfect.
