Classical Piano/Violin/Cello help? - July 27th 2011, 09:59 PM

I'm digging classical right now, especially the aforementioned instruments. I prefer solos, and slow, delicate pieces. But I can't find much that I like.
So any suggestions would be mint.

Please, if you suggest Claire de Lune, I may have to kill you.

Just a hop, skip and a jump.

For a good cello artist id go with Adam Hurst. One of my favs. For Piano try bruno sanfilippo he is more so of a classical ambient composer but still is slow, delicate and soothing.

Lol I don't like that song either.

Piano, obviously you have the obvious ones such as Mozart and Beethoven. Chopins Raindrop prelude is amazing. Also Ludivico Einaudi is good, Igiorni, Limbo and Nefeli are really nice pieces. Comptine D'un Autre Ete is a beautiful piece

Mozarts 40th is lovely and a whole classical orchestra

Violin, Mozarts Violin Concerto No.5 is really nice
Cello, I'm not sure on specific Cello pieces but Sergei Rachmaninoff's Sonata in G minor for Cello and Piano is nice

Hope this helped

I really like the music from the Hannibal soundtrack so perhaps get that. Aria Da Capo is my favourite

You could also try looking at other film soundtracks since they tend to have a lot of classical pieces in.

I know you said you prefer solos but I really like Escala, you might remember them from BGT.
