Slayer vs. Megadeth

which do you like better?

i choose slayer by far. all megadeth songs sound the same to me. i don't get what's so special about it. seems way overrated to me. and slayer is more aggressive/heavy and i like that.

i play guitar and i still like slayer more.

what do you guys think?

Slayer for sure, i was never the biggest fan of megadeth myself. I am a bassist so i look for heavy stuff to play usually because it is the only thing that brings half a challenge too me other then metallica which i usually play too. I have never learned any slayer songs yet but i might just do that soon.

You picked Slayer cuz you think Megadeth songs all sound the same? Have you heard Slayer? I can barely tell their songs apart. Megadeth for sure. Hangar 18, Symphony of Destruction, Dread and the Fugitive Mind, Sleepwalker, A Tout Le Monde, Peace Sells...Megadeth rock.

Depends on my mood. Generally Megadeth over Slayer, but I think both bands are pretty overrated, I like them and all but god damn people need to chill.

Agree. I have my opinions, but sometimes people get so upset over bands.

I personally crack up when Megadeth fans get all butthurt when someone accidentally spells it Megadeath. And I love the band

I've never heard much by either of these bands but I've just youtubed them both and I have to say I prefer Megadeth.

I do think Slayer have pretty good guitars too but I prefer the vocals in Megadeth and vocals are a key point to me liking bands

They played Slayer's Angel of Death in the club the other night. That was awesome. Never seen a mosh pit in a club before.

I'm more of a Slayer guy. They're heavier and a bit darker.
