Lights

The most attractive woman on the planet just released her second album, Siberia. Anyone picked it up yet?

I'm about halfway through and it is such an improvement over The Listening. It's still adorable, but in a more mature way. The electronic sound is more dancey, there is dubstep, but it sounds more solid and packs more of a punch than that of her debut. After how obsessed I got with Toes, I'm glad that the rest of the album is pretty much in the same style.

I remember she supported Owl City a few times, and I could completely understand why. They both played this really cute, completely inoffensive style of pop music. Owl City's new album stays exactly where he has always been. Lights has spread her wings and has made a great pop album that will appeal to a much wider audience.

Well I havent listened to it yet or listened to Lights. But will have to pick it up sometime though.

I haven't listened to the new album, but I have heard other Lights songs, and I love her. I started listening to Owl City and am still in love with Adam, though.

I've never really liked Light's music but I decided to give her new album, Siberia a chance, thanks to this thread. I've found out that I actually enjoy most of the songs on it. This album just has a different sound to it (compared to her older one) , and I like the beats. :]

Siberia is quickly becoming my album of the year, not gonna lie. It's actually so great. Glad you guys decided to check her out

I've really only listened to what's on the radio in terms of her stuff, and I wasn't impressed. Yes, she's pretty but I don't think she has a lot of merit as an artist. I might give her new album a listen, though.

I liked her first album even if it was very poppy for my tastes, hoping this one is even better.
