New Florence and the Machine Album. - November 1st 2011, 06:12 PM

SQUEEEEE.

Musicgasm.

The new album was released today. I'm sooooo excited. I already bought it.

Thoughts

Her newest single are What the Water Gave Me & Shake It Out.

I was looking for a breath of life
For a little touch of heavenly light
But all the choirs in my head say, no oh oh

I bought it on Sunday. It's pretty good. I haven't got a favorite song off it yet though.

I have been listening to it non stop all week.

No Light, No Light and Seven Devis are probably my faves, but the demo version of What The Water Gave Me is pretty sick too.

I haven't heard any other song but 'Shake it Out' but I love that song, so it's very promising.

Eh... Honestly, don't really like her voice. I think some of her lyrics are nice but I just can't stand the woman ... sorry Lynds :')

I downloaded it and listened today. It runs together at times but she does have a very strong and lovely voice.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."
