Anyone into Odd Future?
They're pretty intense, and if you're easily offended they're not for you. I'm mostly into Tyler, The Creator's work, though Frank Ocean has a great voice. It's their live shows that are so impressive. They're very much rock and roll shows, but it's rap and it's heavy, there's moshing and stage diving. Tyler's Goblin is a good album. Incredibly dark, but his low and sinister voice makes it compelling. |

I have not heard them but you have intrigued me.

The chorus goes like "Kill people, burn shit, fuck school." I mean, it sounds like teenage angst, and Tyler is a young guy, but he's an angry dude and the way he spits his lyrics is so full of rage that behind the over the top lyrics, there is a fire desperate to make itself seen. He's not actually gonna stab Bruno Mars, but he'll sure as hell sing about it. |

OFWGKTA is gooodd, Tyler the creator is alright too but I haven't heard much of his stuff.
Tech n9ne has some dark shiit. Check out In the trunk & Pinocchio if you haven't heard um.. lol definitely different. I have a subscription to Spin magazine and just let my friend borrow my Changing The Face of Hip Hop issue today; it had Odd Future (I think...) on the cover... He has a hat that says OFWGKTA on the front and Wolf Gang on the back. He, like, knows everything about them.
