BUSKING! :D

Basically, my friends and I are strapped for cash. Lucky for us though, we live in an area where you can busk without permit and between us know our way around guitar, vocals and percussion like bongos and whatnot. We also have a week long holiday coming up in which to do it. Our mutual music taste consists of mainly eighties music, but we'd be open to do some recent songs, or anything at all for that matter if yous lot think it'd work. I was thinking something like this:

but then that'll take about 5 minutes and we need to rake in some dollarrr so unless we get like £10 during just that song, i'm thinking we're gonna need some more to flesh out our set a bit. So guys, any suggestions? What type of music would you be most likely to give money to? Any advice at all in regards to busking would be greatly appreciated also!

I really like that song you chose. I'd definitely donate money to that one. You don't have to sing the entire thing, maybe just the beginning and the chorus? Another thing I thought of was maybe merging one popular-ish song with another to make it a bit of a mix. I find that people really like to hear those sorts of things.
