"A response to the Jam Master Jay Dr Pepper commercial. Wen I saw it I was utterly disgusted by how fucking gay advertisers are. Would Coca Cola have had Vincent Van Gogh's left ear in a Dr Pepper commercial? Not to compaream Master Jay and Vincent Van Gogh artistically, but credibly. The scene is very indicative of hip hop's lack of legitimacy. An artist trades his life for his art so I made a free Coke commercial with two different examples. First example is a painter, painting a picture of man's achievements until now (in reality it's him putting his head to the canvas and blowing his brains our through the canvas). The second example is a pianist fighting with his piano, beating the shit our of it (in reality a man with his hands in the bathtub with a toaster being electrocuted). I wanted to literally paint a picture with words for the first part, and literally play the piano with my words on the second part.

Even after that explanation, I still can't decipher the song line for line. I would really appreciate it if someone explained all the metaphors and wordplay for me. That would be really kind. Thanks.

One thing you should know, also. Is the way he's writing this, you only get one line after reading a few. This is an awesome way of writing.

I love poetry. But damn...at first you almost think he's just rhyming anything together with anything. But, it clicks.

I'd have to read it a few times to get the full meaning out, but that's my take on it after a listen. Good stuff, though
