Songs? - April 19th 2009, 01:37 AM

Feel free to move if this isn't in the right place.

Ok well I have my last singing lesson on Tuesday and I was thinking of tackling a Celine Dion song, but the ones I like don't have alot of high notes in it and I really need to work on my upper registry.

I was wondering if anyone knew a kinda upbeat song with alot of high notes in it.

You wonder why I never smile anymore, but with broken homes come broken smiles.

Has the acidic rain burned a hole so deep, that we don't care what's beneath our feet?

I'm a freak and my best friend is a pirate-ninja-dinosaur,what a unique friendship!

My heart is so numb, that I can't feel it breaking

If you're looking to try some high notes then try some of Mariah Carey's stuff maybe?

Maybe some songs by Leona Lewis? She sings quite high and some of her songs are upbeat.

Does it have to be by a female? If not, I reccommend the following songs by Paul Simon/& Garfunkel

-The Sun is Burning
-Cloudy
-Bridge over Troubled Water
-Kathy's Song

And almost any song by Queen or No Doubt would be good But I don't know what level you're at so I'm not sure if I helped :s

Oh, yeah! Try songs by Mika, too! They tend to be quite upbeat! ^^ (Grace Kelly, Love Today, Lollipop, etc.)
