Britains got talent! - May 27th 2009, 08:44 PM

The official withdrawal symptom thread!
Ahhhh I don't know what to do with myself! I can't remember my life before BGT started! Haha, okay, a little exaggerated and sounds terribly sad but I am actually missing my daily dosage of Ant and Dec! And sexy Simonnn and Amandas great wardrobe and Piers.. well just Piers in general!
Anybody else following BGT this year and feeling the same? or not so much? Help me get through the night! x

I LOVE BGT!!! Don't want susan Boyle to win though.... Its a talent show and although singing is a talent, and she is very talented I would like some other group to win- like diversity or Flawless. I'd say it will be a dance group to win this year. Any predictions yourself?

Big Brother starts in 9 days.

Americas got talent starts soon as well.

Id like the blokes with the wheelbarrows to win, unique, talented & a pleasure & joy to watch..

I looooooooove Diversity! Loved their audition and when they flung the little afro kid across the stage they just won me over completely! Hope they win. I would be really upset if Boyle won. She's had enough press already and I think she's overrated tbh! Do you sympathize with my withdrawal symptoms? Hah

Course I sympathise with you! I had to watch the smelly champions league tonight instead to fill the void! Major Yawn fest! lol

Woop Woop- Diversity all the way! If i could vote for them I would lol..... the joys of being in Ireland- we get to watch all the shows like BGT and X-factor, Pop Idol and all but we cant vote!

In fairness it is Britains got talent and not Britain and Irelands got talent lol Its just a pity in shows where there is irish people competing and we still cant vote... Oh well they're still super fun to watch!

BTW can I ask... whats the obsession with Simon Cowell? lol like I think he is funny but ...."sexy"? **shudders**

I am loving Britain's Got Talent, there's been so many great acts this year. I do like Shaneen and I do like Susan Boyle but I'd rather someone else who's not a singer or dancer win this time but so far all we have in the final are singers and dancers =/

What about Stavros Flatly? It's not really a dance act.. it's more of a comedy act. But I know what you mean. I really liked Gareth the ventriliquist (not quite sure how to spell that!) he was really original and funny. Not so much with the puppet but his first audition made me laugh.

I didn't really like her. She wasn't amazingly good and I thought the judges were really mean about her friend!

Yeah that ventriloquist dude was halairious! What about the breakdancing 73 yr old!!! He was a legend. I wish my grandad was like that... but he'd probably mess up his gammy knee again!

guysss.. you've got it all wrong! it's all about stavros flatly! if they don't win i might just cry. absolute comedy genius.

second choice would be shaun smith [he's hot.. no?]
or diversity/flawless.. they're both amazing.

It's annoyed me that nearly all of the acts were singing and dancing. It should have more of a variety, but I guess it's what the public wants to see.

Haha me too
I felt so mean for laughing, but it was pretty annoying how emotional she was getting. She looked so terrified, yet she got made to do it again.. Poor girly.

I laughed too but I did feel pretty bad for her. If she's like that there though what happens if she does perform on the royal variety show, there's no second chances there. I expect most of the votes could have been sympathy votes though.

I haven't been following BGT - or any other talent show to be honest - but I do randomly have a look on YouTube if I'm bored.

The only acts that really impressed me were Diversity and Aiden Davis. Out of those, I want Aiden to win - the way he dances is just slick.

Oh, and I saw the "Hot Honeyz" audition and couldn't stop laughing! They're all there dancing in bikinis and corsets, and I'm thinking "This is what you want to show to the Queen?". Then the conversation after their act between Amanda and Simon xD

ok so if stavros flatly don't win i might cry. they are pure entertainment, just love them.

apart from themmmmm... i think...

aiden davis is amazing, simons comment was slightly harsh because i think he was actually better than his last performance.

susan boyle is just annoying - i don't want her to win.

shaun smith is so hot.

diversity were incredible!..

I can't wait until I see the finals go up on Youtube.

I know that Diversity were absolutely brilliant, and I was really torn between them and Flawless. Flawless was more about precision, they were SO locked in and truly were Flawless. Diversity held true to their name, they always had so much to offer and you always saw something new every second of their performance. Both acts were amazing, in the auditions and Semifinals.

Stavros Flatly wasn't really in the same league, I think. That was just weird... >.>

And of course, Susan Boyle. I'm surprised she didn't win just from the amount of press coverage she got. Maybe all her fans 'knew' she was gonna win and didn't bother to vote.

If at first you don't succeed, try try again. If you still don't succeed, redefine success.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. ~Dr. Seuss

I'm so glad that Susan Boyle didn't win, when it was announced that she was in the top 2 I was like Nooooooo. But then Diversity won so it was alright.
But I am gutted that Stavros Flatley didn't win, they were so entertaining. There will be a future for them somewhere!

I've only been watching on and off, but I'm a little disappointed Greg Pritchard (the male soprano) didn't win... I loved him. (:

I'm surprised Susan Boyle didn't win, diversity were good but I wish Julian had won because it would make a change from all the other singing and dancing acts that win all the other talent shows.
