From what I've seen on the previews, it actually does look pretty good. What didn't you like about it/what did you like about it?

In comparison to the first, it was disappointing.

Am I the only one that doesn't think it was dissapointing? I thought it was pretty good...the first was better, of course. But it wasn't bad. The one thing I didn't like was they tried to make it too funny with the language, they kind of overdid that part. But other than that it was pretty cool

I thought it was pretty good though I wish that Optimus was in the movie more, but overall I think it was as good as the first one.

I personally liked it. I mean i was thinking it would just make a bunch of failed attempts at humor, but most of them were pretty good. Along with the rest of the movie, i thought it was pretty awesome. I mean i don't remember the first one all that much but this one certainly left an impression ^_^

"I am standing directly beneath the enemy's scrotum."

that is all...

I haven't seen it yet.
Though my friends did and surprisingly, they weren't talking about the movie... They were talking about how hot Megan Fox was :s

Ahaha yeah, the same... All my male friends kept saying how sexy Megan Fox was. But I did hear also from my female friends, that they liked it, lol.

Yeah, that one failed attempt at immature humor killed the mood for me for the rest of the movie.

Re: Transformers 2 - July 5th 2009, 11:41 AM

I know this is an oldish thread but I just saw the film and I was avoiding this thread in case of spoilers.

I didn't think it was that bad but I didn't go in with really high expectations. Ok there wasn't much of a plot line but I didn't go for that. I wanted to see some big ass robots fighting some other bigger ass robots and that is what I got.
That is what Transformers is...

I loved the first half and hour because it was just the robots killing each other, no cheesy love story sub plot.
The humour was a bit childish and I think they went overboard with the swearing to try and make it funnier, there was some good cheesy one liners though and I actually liked the two "black" twins.
I didn't mind a lot of the stupid humour because it was the same in the old cartoons but some of it seemed stupid and desperate.

I saw it today and I thought it was really good. I like how they had a few more robots especially the twins as they were funny and the plot was pretty good as well.

Re: Transformers 2 - July 14th 2009, 01:01 AM

I know this thread is kind of old news, but I haven' been around for a while. As for the movie, I liked it. I saw it opening night at midnight - there were 7! midnight showings. I don't understand how the critics are saying its a horrible movie. I read in a magazine a critic say that it was more about the "machines" than the people. Did this person know anything about the movie? That's what its freaking about! Really makes me mad. Anyway, I liked it. Although, I did feel like they were trying to hard to make the mom be funny again. But it was pretty funny.

Re: Transformers 2 - July 14th 2009, 01:49 AM

I really liked it. I thought the action scenes were great, and there is a lot of them. I also liked the parts where nothing really happened. I laughed a lot during the movie.
I would give it 5/5 stars.
