my sisters keeper. - June 27th 2009, 11:02 PM

Ive jusst been to see the film and i must say, its one of the best films ive seen in a looooong time. Cried my eyes out.
Its so light hearted, and it touched me so much.
Anyone else seen it?

I heard this was a really good movie - and very sad. I heard this from guys so you know it must be good. I plan on seeing it next weekend, most likely. [:

I so jealous! I loved the book and can't wait to see the movie, but it doesn't come out in Australia for (i think) a few more weeks.

The book was amazing. I haven't yet seen the movie (once my mom hurries up and finishes the book, I probably will, although God knows when she'll finish it) but judging by the previews it looks like a decent movie. The movie is rarely equally as good as the book, but hopefully they pulled this one off. I can almost guarantee I will be crying like a baby

my sister's keeper - July 1st 2009, 12:42 AM

i heard they've changed it from the book.. they always seem to do that with movies.

hmm i doubt i'll be watching it.. it'll probably hit home a little too much for my liking.

Just merged your thead with this one Elle, since it was still active.
I have not seen the film, though I've heard great reviews on it, and the book.

My sister saw it and told me she liked it a lot. She said there's a part of the movie that reminds her of us. We're pretty close sisters.

Saw it Sunday night. It was good... very different to the book in a lot of ways, but it was still good.

Everyone was crying during it.

For everyone who has read the book:

The movie ending is completely different.

I know right?! I lent over to my friend and I whispered ''THAT IS NOT WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN''.

But... it was still good.
