'Orphan' - August 4th 2009, 05:49 AM

I think this was a really good movie with a good twist at the end. I recommend it to horror fans.

I kind of want to see it... but I'm not sure what it's about entirely. Is it about this orphan with supernatural powers or she just kills people?

Re: 'Orphan' - August 5th 2009, 03:19 AM

I saw this movie and I liked it. It was a little too long for my attention span (a bit over 2 hours ) but the ending was alot different then what i'd have expected. I love horror movies but most of the end up sucking so this time I was happy that this one didn't. :]

Katelyn, it's hard to explain the girl without giving the plot or twist away. According to IMDb, the plot is: A husband and wife who recently lost their baby adopt a 9-year-old girl who is not nearly as innocent as she claims to be.

Lets just say it has nothing to do with supernatural Ghost/demons. I don't want to spoil the movie for you.

Haha now I'm quite interested. I'm going to have to check it out.

Ooh I'm hoping to watch this next week when it comes out here but it depends whether the person I planned on seeing it with has swine flu or not, her step dad has it at the moment.

Re: 'Orphan' - August 6th 2009, 12:03 AM

I saw it and it was good kept me really spooked but at the end the whole twist to the story was completely pathetic the way the orphan is really 30 and has a growing a growing disorder.. i mean c'mon id rather keep it the way it was with just the child is just flat out evil
