This is my favourite book <3
I was a bit hesitant about the film at first, as often I think they ruin books (my sister's keeper, case in point) but the trailer makes TTW look really good. So me and my little sister are going to see it soon as it comes out here in the UK!!

I heard this was being made into a film. I've yet to read the book, so I want to read it before I go and watch it. I've heard good things about the book.

I really want to see this! I'm not much into soppy romantic films but it looks really good. I haven't read the book so I have nothing to compare it to.

I read the book 5 years ago. When I saw the advertisement for the movie I was like "whoa! it's about time!". lol Needless to say, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Ehhh, I'm like half way through the book. Can't say I'm lovin' it, to be honest. It's good, but not as good as I expected it to be. I am looking forward to the movie though.

I need to check the book out at the library so that I can go see the movie. LOL. I hate watching movies that are books if I haven't read the book.

I had never heard of this until I went to see My Sisters Keeper and I thought it looked amazing. I looked it up online and found it is was a book and I was so happy. I ordered it online that day and I am half way through it now and I am loving it, I will have finished it by friday and the latest, I can't put it down. I am going to try and make my boyfriend go and see it with me, if not I will go with my Mum.

I liked the book but I daren't see the film because I watched the trailer and immediately thought "That's not what I imagined Claire to look like ... that's not what I thought Henry would look like ..." etc

I just got back from seeing it!

I thought it was excellent. Tissues are must.

I actually liked it more than the book. And I never like a movie more than the book.

I loved the book, but I'm hesitant to see the movie, as movies often ruin books (in my opinion). I'm sure it is a good movie, but if you've read the book, and you have it all set out in your own way, it might ruin it.

Re: The Time Travellers Wife - August 16th 2009, 09:12 PM

I saw it yesterday and it was good. Tears all round! Even my boyfriend liked it, which was a surprise! I think at the end the whole cinema was crying.

Though they did miss out quite a few bits of the story I think ... and it's one of those films that you'd understand more if you went to see it again.

And i think I'm in love with Henry

I'm about half-way through the book. I wouldn't be able to decide which one was better quite yet.
