I smell the best game of all time.
These guys know how to make a trailer, and a good game.
Even my dad thought this game looked epic!

I absolutely loved the first Modern Warfare, I was then pretty dissapointed with World At War, but I wondered where they would go with the game from there after the first Modern Warfare was such a massive success but to be honest the trailer looks absolutely amazing and I will certainly be buying the game as soon as possible.

World at War was pretty crap.
They went back to WW2, and that was a main thing.
Nobody wants to fight there anymore, they've done all that, and got the t-shirt.
Now they want WW3 with russians, spies, africans and US military.

The trailer looks freaking awesome...

But then again it could just be that they've made this killer trailer to sell a product which isn't too great... but if so they've done a mighty fine job of it

I'll probably go out and get it anyway just so I can compare...

I am a COD fanatic I want to play so bad when I get the$ to buy a copy i plan on playing all night.

I'm looking forward to it but I did actually like World At War though. However, I suspect the new Operation Flashpoint is going to be the better game of that genre, I'm really excited for both of them.

Yeah, Modern warfare 2 does look amazing. Apparently Treyarch are already devolping Call of duty 7 and thats rumourd to be set in Vietnam.

I heard the same rumour, and don't really like the idea. I know they're going through the same phase Battlefield did, trying to reach every market around, but if its anything like CO

WaW, it just won't work as well. They used a different gameplay suite, which kinda ruined it for me. The graphics weren't exactly better than COD4 anyway.

I've got two Prestige copies on order and one standard copy. Dad wants to use the Prestige night vision goggles for hunting, but as they only reach 50m, he'll have to go iron-sights on his rifles. The second set of night-vision is for myself and my hunting expeditions.

Not to mention the fact that we have three xboxs running with four xbox live accounts. We've racked up 100 days played time on COD4 online between all four of us. We're addicted. :P

Wow. Your lucky, i havent been able to get internet in my house for months now. Im currently using a Library pc

Does anyone who has Xbox Live fancy a game sometime? I've got Modern Warfare, World at War and no doubt I'll end up getting Modern Warfare 2 when it comes out.

COD is fun, but it's not really my favorite game. I think it's the War scenario that is hard for me to get into. I'm more of a Rambo type person, rather than team/co-op player. I mean I like multiplayer, but I don't like when a game relies upon co-op gameplay (Gears of War, RE5, COD, etc).

It's a good game, but quite far from "best game of all time." I've had better memories and more fun with other games (Half Life, GTA, Bioshock, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario come to mind).

I might pick this up, I might not. I already know this game is going to get excellent reviews so I won't base my decision on that. But I wasn't a great fan of past games so...We'll see.

I've played Modern Warfare on my laptop and LOVED it!!

When I've got a job I'll consider buying a console for Modern Warfare 2... (and a few more games obviously

)
