Halloween Movies -
October 29th 2009, 07:10 PM
I'm gonna rent some movies for Halloween, any recommendations?
The only condition is nothing with a lot of sexual content (such as assault or rape), other than that, I'm pretty much open to anything. |

I'm totally into zombies right now for some reason. Some of the best in my opinion are the resident evil movies. 1 being the best for the actual zombie myth, 3 isn't bad.
Zombies Anonymous is just so... FUNNY even though it's not supposed to be. But it's not scary in the least. Gory though... Peoples heads get cut off and balls get stabbed out and such... Return of the Living Dead is an old 80s movie which I also find funny even though it's not supposed to be. but mostly because of one girl who is apparently extremely turned on by the thought of, ironically, being eaten alive. So turned on she starts stripping. So if you have a problem with girls strangly taking off all their clothes... Quarentine is also a good movie, funny in my opinion but some find it scary. Zombieland is EPIC but I don't think it's out on dvd yet. probably still in theathers though. those are the favorites of mine that I can think of anyway... ![]() Take me seriously. I dare you. |

Some really good films;
Pet Semetary 1, (And 2 is pretty good as well) Fright Night The Lost Boys (Excellent Film) An American Werewolf in London (Excellent Film) The Evil Dead The Faculty (A 90's horror starring Josh Hartnet) The Butterfly Effect (Excellent Excellent Film. Dont bother with the 2 sequals though ) Scream 1, 2, 3 (All of those are wicked cool) The Shining (Another Excellent film. Most of Stephen Kings movies are) Thats all I can think of that are decent films without much sexual content. Enjoy. HelpLink Mentor & Forum Moderator PM me! ![]() Our lives are like music. The Blair Witch Project, all the way. I LOVE it.

Halloween (definitely not the Rob Zombie one if you're avoiding rape),
The Thing, 28 Weeks Later (haven't seen the prequel, but i've been told it's good), Children of the Corn "What do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?" -George Eliot"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it." -Groucho Marx "Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin." -Grace Hansen |

Perhaps you can rent out these:
30 days of night ( really creep me out) The sixth sense - I never get tired of it xD A nightmare on Elm Street Psycho Halloween is a good choice ( I like the old series, remakes are terrible) |

I absolutely LOVE Silence of the Lambs. It wasn't scary to me but it terrifies some people. My parents both said it was the scariest movie they have ever seen.

Hmm...
When A Stranger Calls (it's pretty scary in the thrilling sort of sense) IT - Stephen King ... if clowns scare you to no end, stay away from this one but I'd say it's a good choice! |

I also highly suggest seeing Paranormal Activity if it's an option. Movies never seem to frighten me but this one gave me that pulse-in-the-stomach feeling and I loved every second of it.
