It has some good advantage,also some bad.

To answer your question though, no I would not buy one. I pretty much agree with everything stated in the other thread so you can check there for why.

no i wouldn't. they seem way too expensive for what they are.. but then all apple stuff is expensive so i'm not surprised.

also.. why does it have two different names? or am i being dumb?

When Apple announced they were making a tablet people branded it the iTablet but when it was released by Apple it was officially called the iPad.

Nah I wouldnt buy it, it sounds crap, looks pants, i have a ipod, and i have a laptop. I could buy a new laptop and a phone for the price of them,

Apple suck why do they think they can charge so much for things!!

The ipods always bloody freeze, and i bet this Ipad thing sucks too.

Nope. I have a laptop, cell phone, and ipod. I don't feel the need to have something else. It doesn't have anything that I need. If I wanted something smaller than my laptop, I would get a netbook, not an ipad.

No I wouldn't. However in the future I might. Right now it is too new so I don't know if it will be any good. There are a few things it cannot do that I would like it to do. I am thinking in the future when new models are made etc I might consider buying it.

Not really because I've never had much luck with Apple products lasting at all.

And I just don't like Apple and their mass taking over of the MP3 Player business. Seriously, iPod doesn't need that much shelving space.

If you can afford spending at least $500 for...a touch-screen netbook with a crappy OS, you can take the plunge and spend a couple more for a Macbook. Proper keyboard, and proper OS. Just buy a case or something and suck it up.
