Hachi; True Story

Me and my mum have just watched this and it was really heart touching.
Its based on a true story.

Basically, this dog had a close relationship with his owner who was a professor and ended up dying in a class. But for so many years the dog went with him to the train station, went home, and then at five every work day, he would go back to the station all on his own, to meet his owner. But on this day, his owner didnt turn up. he kept going for nine years i think it was. He kept himself shelterd, and people that worked nead by, fed him, until he died himself.

And to the right is a statue they made in his memory.

I thought it was so lovely.

I love the story though <3 And I love the Akita breed.
