PSP MODS - January 13th 2009, 07:38 PM

Is the discussion of PSP Modification banned? Not linking to mods or posting warez (or tutorials), but just discussing modifications?

If this is allowed...

My PSP 1001 (Phat) is curently running 5.00 M33-4, the newest release of AleX's. I've had some troubles with 5.00 M33-3, like my Gameboy Em stopped working, but CWCHEAT worked fine. When I dropped back to 3.71 M33-3, CW stopped working, and my Echochrome game stopped working... Does anyone else experience similar dissapointments?

Re: PSP MODS - January 14th 2009, 12:35 PM

Talking about homebrew and mods should be fine.
The only thing illegal about it is ISO usage and pirating etc.

I have three PSP's. One 1000 is running 3.40 M33-2, its old because it has a broken LCD screen.

Another 1000 is running 5.00 M33-4, but the sound doesn't work T_T. Well, it does, but it doesnt if you touch the volume buttons.

And a 2000 with the TA-088v3 running Sony's v4.01. I am just waiting for some type of downgrader for this one, I just got unlucky is all.

Uhm, alot of my homebrew wont work in 5.00 M33-4 for some reason as well. Im thinking of using pandora to go back a few versions. I was comfortable with 3.40 anyways. This includeas alot of my emulators, like nes, snes and n64. 'Pops' works fine though.
