Linux and Java (or lack of...) - April 25th 2012, 07:32 PM

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.3 (Lucid Lynx) on an Asus Eee PC, and for some reason Java has completely stopped working. I've never had a problem with it before. Any ideas (aside from throwing my netbook out of the window)? I'm better using command lines if anyone can help with that...

Thank you.

This maybe is something you've done. But have you tried to restart your computer?

It says so after you've uninstalled the package? Sounds strange.
