Try a different browser not much you can do, you could try going in to settings and playing around with it not that I'm an expert on Firefox. I'd recommend testing it using google chrome and seeing how things go it could just be a glitch or a weak internet connection on your end.

Sounds like a website glitch but it doesn't matter as longs as it's working now.

Usually if photos aren't loading it's your internet. Mine does that from time to time for no reason I know of so I try resetting it and it almost always fixes it. I don't know about any other routers in the US besides mine and definitely not in the UK but they could be similar? If you have a router try looking in the back of it where the wires are plugged in. Mine has a tiny hole with a button in it that I push with a pen to reset it. Or I unplug it and plug it back in if I don't have a pen. So that might work for yours.

Best of luck. Internet connections can be annoying.

What is beautiful is their strength, their resilience, their fortitude
as they display an ocean of courage when they pick through the
wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill

Ah okay I've ran a spybot search and destroy scan to see if it highlights anything there.... if it doesn't I might have to like contact facebook itself and tell facebook about the problem.....it seems okay on my phone at the moment its now mostly firefox etc that it plays up on :/

Usually, when it has trouble loading things it has something to due with the internet connection. I know my phone does this a lot and occasionally it will load slow on my computer but that's very rare.

I would suggest resetting your router. Usually you can do that by turning it off and then turning it back on. That's how I do it with my comcast router. If that doesn't work then you might want to either contact your internet provider or contact facebook. I don't know if there is contact information for firefox but you could try that as well.
