Hey Lydia!

When you say touching the screen do you mean the home button or the actual screen? Is it a click like a sound from the phone or an actual part of the phone clicking (if the phones damaged)?

After this I can try and help you

Do you have a case on it? Maybe the case is broken? If not then I think you might have damaged something on the inside. If that's the case then you can try and get it fixed. However, if it's still working fine then I say don't take it in.. It will just cost you money to get it fixed if the phones working fine

i do have a case on it but its not like a hard case and just a soft rubber case... it works fine just the clicking is like really annoying - from google ive pretty much figured out its probably just like a loose screen.... just the clicking noise is like sooooo annoying.

Is it under warranty/apple care? If yeah, it should be pretty easy to fix

In that case, maybe just take it to a small store and see if they can fix it (the Apple Store will charge way to much)

It might be the screen giving way perhaps or damage on the inside of the phone I know a lot of iPhone 6 users who had problems with their phone falling apart on them. I would pop it in to Apple and see what they say.

Re: iphone 5c clicking? - December 3rd 2016, 08:00 PM

I popped into the carphone wharehouse today - and they had a quick lock at me phone for me and said it shouldnt fall apart and the clicking is just where the screen is like a little loose from where its been dropped or over used..i have the sides of the screen selotaped and that seems to be like basically stopping the clicking noise. so i think for now i will just leave it selotaped.
