PS5? - June 3rd 2017, 11:16 AM

Will there ever be a Playstation 5 in the future?
Also, what do you think about that concept? the technology system would be like yet another sequel to the playstation series. Would it really be pushing it or even be seen as pointless or could it offer something all new?
Personally i don't expect it and I really can't. I remember when there was no such thing as a PS3

Of course! As long as there's competition, companies will always try to be innovative and create new products that are better than others. Sony pushes themself to be better than their main competitor, Microsoft, and create better gaming consoles. Should they stop making new consoles, their competitor will win, so I think it's guaranteed that there'll be a PS5.

Don't care much for it since I'm a PC player, but it's very likely that consoles will keep going. Although I'd expect, and like to see, being able to play cross-platform, as some titles currently allow. Final Fantasy XIV, for example, allows PS3/4 and PC players to play together (most of my guild there are console players) and I think this really is the way to go.

The risk I took was calculated, but boy, am I bad at math.

It's likely they will come out with something. I know, recently, they came out with Playstation VR but I think that is just a headset and you use it with Playstation 4.

But, I do agree with the above comment, as long as their is competition the companies will come out with new systems. I am not sure if it will be called Playstation 5 though but, who knows.
