wifi issues - June 12th 2017, 09:09 PM

i am having major trouble with my internet company... they are saying theres no known issues yet every 5 minuets its showing up on my laptop as no internet/no service...... its got to the point where im just like getting so pissed off with this.... im not like completely sure its my internet company... it could be my laptop but other days i will not have any connectivity issues which kinda like rules out the probelm being with my laptop.... what do i do? its incredbly hard to use the internet at the moment because of the internet disconnecting every 5 or so mins....

I had this problem too. It might be an automatic setting you can turn off.

From your control panel, find your list of network connections. Yours might be different I had to go through

Control panel ----> Network and Internet---> View Network Status and tasks ---> Change adapter settings (left side)

Click on your wifi---> Properties----> Configure----> Power management tab and then uncheck the box that says "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

I swear it used to be easier to get to. See if that helps.
