What is keyword stemming?

Keyword stemming is a fundamental part of search engines; the principle idea is simple


Think of a word like a tree. - Let's say, the word "Climb" was a tree.

When you type the word "Climb" into a search engine; it will not only search for the Tree; but also its branches.

I,e, the words that Branch or (stem) off the original word.
' Climber, Climbing, '
