Itunes and Ipod - June 6th 2009, 11:10 AM

Hi, recently i took my computer into be fixed because it just kept restarting itself over and over and not allowing itself to be properly switched on. The guys from the shop have basically said our hard drive has broke, which means every single document and file on my computer has been lost ( so about 3 and a half thousand songs!) anyway, i rung apple yesterday about itunes and they told me i will still be able to save all my purchased songs i had previously bought off itunes. Is this true? every song is still on my ipod, so will they simply be able to be transferred over? but the woman from apple said i would have to re download itunes on the new computer then click on FILE and receive back my purchased songs is this correct. Thanks .

Well, no you can actually transfer your songs from your ipod right back onto your computer, so you've got no worries =)

I think Adz had a program that did it for you, but I'm not sure.

Can you do this if your ipod was synced for a mac, but now I have a pc?

CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME A LINK!?

I can't play games on a mac. I didn't have that much money. I LOVES THE MAC!

But I also like my Sony Vaio. Although I don't trust it as much as mac.
