I went onto Gmail and my account is normally logged in but it wasn't, when I tried to it told me that my username or password was incorrect. I know my username is correct so I entered in the password (I use firefox so it's entered automatically) and it said it was wrong and firefox asked if I wanted to change it so obviously my password has been changed.
Is there anyway to change it by answering my secret question? I did the whole can't access my account > password recovery or whatever but it tells me to follow the instructions sent to an email address that didn't appear or wait 24 hours and try again to reset it. But I don't really have 24 hours as I want my account back. Is there anyway to change my password now? This has happened to me before on another account twice, where the password just seems to change for some reason but no-one knows about it but me and my girlfriend and I doubt she'd do it.
enter you username
then answer the secret question
and then just change the passssss.
I get this when I do that:
To initiate the password reset process, please follow the instructions sent to the following email addresses: If you no longer have access to those accounts, please try to reset your password again after 24 hours. At that point, you'll be able to reset your password by answering the security question you provided when you created your account. We use the security question for account recovery only after an account has been idle for 24 hours. We do this to prevent someone else from taking over your account. If you're unable to answer your security question or access your secondary email account, please complete this form. If you're concerned about the security of your account, please visit our Security Center.

I don't think I did and if I did, I don't remember it to go onto it.
Well, I thought it was safer then hotmail which tells me I've been signed out because I'm signed in at another place or that I've requested a password change. I've got it back now so that's all that matters.
