SERVICE. - January 19th 2010, 02:16 AM

Cell phone service.

I was wondering who can/can't get cell phone service in their house.

I can't seem to get it anywhere in my house except for in the bathroom (yes, the bathroom), and it gets on my nerves once in awhile.

Many thanks

In my house yes, but I have noticed that when I'm in my car I lose the signal for some reason...

I get it most of the time, but I voted sometimes because it tends to go in and out sometimes so that you can't hear what the person on the other end is saying. It gets really annoying! I used to have AT&T, but we switched to Sprint. Definitely not as good!

I do. My old house I never got any service because I lived too close to the lake. But the house I am in now, I get great service.

I get service at my house, not the best for phone calls at times, but all the time for texts.

Re: SERVICE. - January 19th 2010, 04:26 AM

I get service at my house, but one of my friends has to stand on the roof of his house to get just 1 bar of signal, or drive for 4km. Our old house was inbetween 2 big hills, so the service was a bit touch and go.

Re: SERVICE. - January 19th 2010, 02:20 PM

I have it pretty much everywhere. I think that since I got my new phone (much better reception) that the only time I had no reception was going to visit my girlfriend in the mountains.

I can with AT&T, but not US Cellular. So I have a Samsung Go Phone. I actually really like it.

I have service everywhere in my house usually.
Occasionally it will mess up, but i think that has more so to do with the network.

Re: SERVICE. - January 24th 2010, 06:14 AM

Since I live at the bottom of a hill, the service at my place isn't great. I can get in the bathroom, a small section of my bedroom and if I stand near the front door, but even that dosen't give the best reception, it cuts out all the time. If it's a really important call, I tend to go outside in my front yard, on the corner of both roads. (I live on a corner of 2 different streets, hence 2 roads) But by the time I do that the person has either hung up, I've lost service and hung up on them or there's loud cars going past so I can't hear. Hence why I tend to only use my mobile for texting and my home phone for calls.

I've got great service, due to living in the city centre. Yay for modern conveniences ^_^

I get great service generally everywhere, except the cafeteria area (but sometimes I even get it there) and some spots on the first floor of my school.

Everywhere, although, I am in a city. I do wonder how people in Northern Canada can use a cell phone! If they do at all...

The only place I don't get service is in school, and thats because our school illegally uses cell phone blocks.

My husband and I are on two different carriers. I'm with Virgin Mobile Canada, and He's with Rogers. I have to go up out of our basement apartment to get any signal. he can be anywhere, and pace even, and get signal. and MY phone is our "HOME" phone! Womp!

I used to have that problem. When I have sprint I couldn't get service in my house at all. Though now I have verizon and I only lose signal in the basement of my school.
