What's a UIF file and how can I open it? - February 19th 2010, 09:12 PM

I downloaded some audio books and just realised they're in a .UIF file :/ How do I open them? I want them in .mp3s more than anything as I want them on my ipod.

VLC's a good media player and it opens most files, it's free so you could try it?

If it doesn't open them then try converting them to mp3.

I've got VLC and that doesn't even recognise it o____O which is a shock as it plays files I've never even heard of in my life.

I just googled UIF and it's an ISO image so you need to either burn it to a CD or download a program which acts as a Virtual CD drive.

Look up Daemon Tools Lite. From there you can mount the image (At least with other types) or can at least burn them to disk, otherwise.
