Camera Help - March 7th 2010, 10:38 PM

For some time now a friend of mine has been wanting a fish eye camera lens. Her birthday is approaching so I figured I'd get her one.

However, I know nothing about cameras. So I just need to know what I need to be looking for when I buy the lens... Are they all one size is my main question?

And will they work for both digital and or... Not digital? (Analogue?)
I don't think her main camera is digital but I can't be 100%

There are a lot of types out there, but I DO hope you realise quite how much they are , I can give you a few if you can post what camera model she has, but without knowing that there are a fair few on the market...

You're looking at spending 400+ though on one...

A much worse, bit of fun, but MUCH cheaper option... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lomo-Fisheye...8011100&sr=8-1

In all honesty though as a photographer if i were to get a fisheye lens as a present... WOW Id be over the moon

How can one love themselves, when they love absolutely nothing?
Do something that is interesting. If it is not interesting, find out why it is not interesting.

Well, it's a 21st. Her boyfriend is throwing 150 in, along with 100 from myself after she went overboard on my birthday. Then there are a handful of others throwing 20-30 in each so we could gather the money easily just a case of working out what we need.

I'll do some crafty investigating tomorrow, find out what make her camera is.
